An important Canadian Bearings customer was faced with a scored and worn out shaft and a triple sheave with varying groove depths. The team at Canadian Bearings reached out to Sheaves Canada for a solution.
The old sheave and shaft was sent to Sheaves Canada where the unit was reverse engineered. A new triple sheave was manufactured along with a very intricate shaft which included one end being threaded the other with a grease fitting for the greaseable shaft.
Everything manufactured and returned to the customer and operating perfectly.
