A Sheaves Dealer on the East Coast had two broken sheaves from their customer that needed to be replaced. One of the broken sheaves was shipped to Sheaves where the design and engineering team reverse engineered the sheave.
The customer requested the replacement sheaves be manufactured with the same dimensions and groove size but wanted to change the body to a solid design. Also upgrade to a sealed bearing.
The 13`` sheaves were designed and manufactured to the precise dimensions of the broken sheave complete with the requested changes. After manufacturing and painting, the new bearings were installed and the 2 new sheaves shipped out.
